Si vuelvo la vista atrás 20 años, me evado a una tienda de música que además de nutrirme de las primeras compilaciones de las melodías que quería proyectar en Cappuccino, me ofrecía muchas otras sensaciones y vivencias. Aquella tiendecita era ya, en aquel entonces, una red social en si misma, más allá de los minidiscs que luego editaba en casa con tanto cariño. Cada martes por la tarde, durante años, me refugiaba en aquel entorno amigable y me dejaba llevar por la música que marcaría más de una década de mi vida.
Allí me recomendaron a Pepe Link profesionalmente y también surgió la magia personal entre ambos. Nos entendíamos conversando cada martes con notas, líricas y corcheas, miradas y risas, y juntos concebimos las colecciones de Cappuccino Grand Café Lounge de las cuales, a día de hoy, hemos vendido ya más de 120,000 copias de nuestros 7 volúmenes, hemos deleitado con los distintos ambientes de nuestra radio a más de 45,000 oyentes conectados en sus diferentes momentos del día o de la noche y hemos convertido nuestra música en una tendencia en un público que ya espera el Cd número 8, una obra que trasladará a París a aquel que lo escuche y que reflejará el corazón de Pepe y el mío propio en cada nota, en cada ritmo, en su armonía…
If I look back 20 years, I’m browsing through records in a music store to give me inspiration for the first compilations, that, as well as provide the sound that I wanted to project the atmosphere of Cappuccino, also offered many other feelings and experiences. That little store was already, at that time, a social network in itself, beyond the minidiscs that I so fondly edited at home later. Every Tuesday afternoon, for years, I took refuge in this friendly environment and I was carried away by the music that filled more than a decade of my life.
There I was recommended the profesional services of one Pepe Link and here started a mutual personal appreciation of the magic of music. Every Tuesday we engaged in conversation understanding the notes, lyrics and chords, looks and laughs, and together conceived the Cappuccino Grand Café Lounge collections of which, today, we have sold over 120,000 copies of our 7 volumes. We have reveled in different environments of our radio transmissions to over 45,000 listeners online at different times of the day or night and we have turned our music into a trend to an audience that waits for Cd number 8, a work that will move the listener to Paris reflecting the heartfelt notes, rhythms and harmonies from Pepe and myself.
