La música de Chet Baker ha sido en tantas ocasiones fuente de nuestra inspiración, que hemos querido rendirle un pequeño homenaje con esta entrada.

Son tantas las historias que se han contado de su vida…historias en blanco y negro, tan crueles unas e inverosímiles otras, que a nadie pueden dejar indiferente…
Perdió parte de su dentadura, no se sabe bien si fruto de un accidente o de un ajuste de cuentas, pero en ningún momento esto le impidió continuar haciendo lo que más le gustaba, tocar la trompeta. Fue una persona que a pesar de las adversidades siempre volvía a subir a un escenario y seducir con su obra a todos aquellos que le seguían.

So many stories have been told of his life… stories in black and white, some so cruel and others implausible but none that can be ignored…
He lost some of his teeth, it’s not clear whether by accident or through someone settling a score but at no point did that stop him from carrying on doing what he liked most: playing the trumpet. He was a person who, in spite of adversity, always got back up on the stage and seduced with his work all those who followed him.
